Il 25° Festival Internazionale “Duchi d’Acquaviva” di Atri (Te) propone dal 7 al 28 agosto 2024 una ricchissima offerta di Master Class e una nutrita e qualificata rassegna di Concerti di musica classica tenuti dai corsisti e dagli stessi docenti, che avranno come scenario gli scorci più suggestivi di Atri e dintorni.
Le Master Class offrono annualmente ai corsisti l’insegnamento specializzato di illustri docenti di diversa formazione e provenienza, allo scopo di far acquisire una effettiva competenza professionale, mediante un’attività didattica che costituisce un’importante occasione di perfezionamento musicale e di scambio di esperienze fra le varie Scuole musicali internazionali. Ogni estate, durante il Festival, la città di Atri accoglie circa 200 giovani musicisti provenienti da tutto il mondo, e diviene la sede ideale di accoglienza di questa specie di laboratorio, nel quale concertismo e didattica trovano il punto d’incontro ottimale, esaltandosi nel rapporto tra docente e corsista attraverso le lezioni e i concerti, fornendo immediatamente la riprova dell’itinerario artistico percorso. La qualità della formula proposta e dell’offerta formativa, nonché la meticolosa organizzazione che può già avvalersi di una notevole esperienza, ha fatto spendere parole di plauso da parte di tutti i docenti intervenuti nelle passate edizioni, e ha riscosso puntualmente l’apprezzamento unanime dei corsisti partecipanti. E’ così che il Festival Internazionale “Duchi d’Acquaviva” si è imposto come un importante appuntamento nella programmazione musicale italiana. L’Associazione “Amici della Musica 2000” di Atri, con la realizzazione del Festival centra altri importanti obiettivi, quali l’incentivazione dell’indotto turistico e la promozione artistica della città di Atri e di tutta la regione Abruzzo.

20 MASTER CLASS – Lezioni individuali, lezioni di gruppo, workshops di musica da camera.
300 ARTISTI, tra solisti, gruppi cameristici, ensemble, cantanti, professori d’orchestra, direttori d’orchestra, docenti e giovani studenti provenienti da tutto il mondo.
PREMI e BORSE DI STUDIO – 3° Concorso Internazionale “Note di Talento” Il Solista e l’Orchestra: i 3 vincitori delle 3 sezioni (pianoforte, strumenti ad arco e strumenti a fiato) si esibiranno in qualità di solisti con l’Orchestra Sinfonica “Duchi d’Acquaviva”. Esibizione in concerto dei migliori corsisti delle varie Master Class. Concessione di diverse borse di studio.
CONFERENZE sui grandi temi della contemporaneità musicale, sullo stato attuale della musica classica, con la presenza di relatori esperti e musicologi.

The 25th International Festival “Duchi d’Acquaviva” proposes from 7th to 28th August 2024 a very rich offer of Master Class and a substantial and qualified season of Concerts of classical music held by the students and the teachers themselves, who will have as their backdrop the most charming views of Atri and environs.
Every year the Master Class offer the students the specialized teaching of illustrious teachers of different training and origin, for the purpose of obtaining real professional competence, by means of teaching activity which constitutes an important opportunity for musical perfecting and an exchange of experiences among the various international Music Schools.
Every summer, during the Festival, the city of Atri welcomes about 200 young musicians from all over the world, and it becomes the ideal welcoming centre for this type of laboratory, in which concert-giving activities and teaching find an optimum meeting point, boasting of its relationship between teacher and students through lessons and concerts, providing immediately the proof of the artistic itinerary covered.
The quality of the proposed formula and the formative offer, as well the meticulous organization which can already avail itself of remarkable experience, has caused all the participating teachers of the past editions to speak words of praise, and has promptly won the unanimous appreciation of the participating students. It is in this way that the International Festival “Duchi d’Acquaviva” is standing out as an important appointment in the Italian musical programming.
The Association “Amici della Musica 2000” of Atri, with the realization of the Festival centres other important aims, such as the stimulation of the tourist industry and the artistic promotion of the city of Atri and the whole Abruzzo region.

300 ARTISTS, including soloists, chamber groups, ensembles, singers, orchestra professors, conductors, teachers and young students from all over the world.
AWARDS and SCHOLARSHIPS – 3rd International Competition “Note di Talento” The Soloist and the Orchestra: the 3 winners of the 3 sections (piano, string instruments and wind instruments) will perform as soloists with the Symphony Orchestra “Duchi d’Acquaviva”. Concert performance of the best students of the various Master Classes. Granting of several scholarships.
CONFERENCES on the great themes of contemporary music, on the current state of classical music, with the presence of expert speakers and musicologists.
