The International Competition of the Duchi d’Acquaviva of Atri (Te) springs from the precise intention of giving an opportunity to the many young people who devote themselves, while making sacrifices, to the study of classical music giving them a further chance to be able to display their artistic qualities. The competition represents a great cultural event and above all a testing moment for many young talents from all over the world, who face one another on a preparation and musical interpretation level. The competition also represents a great opportunity of growth from a cultural and tourist point of view for the City of Atri, which will be the centre of a festival of the highest level for 10 days, entrusted to the experience of the “Amici della Musica” and to a very valid international Jury made up of concert artists, teachers and famous personalities in the musical field.
